Chelsea morning headlines as Blues set to complete second transfer after Lampard request, fee agreed

Chelsea has been linked to many players around the globe after the transfer ban was lifted.

However, Chelsea have secured there first signing Hakim Ziyech from Ajax for an initial £37million and the Morocco international will join the Blues officially on July 1st as stated.

Meanwhile, according to Daily Express, Chelsea are ‘very close’ to completing their second summer signing.

Website Todofichajes claim Chelsea are close to ‘finalising’ a deal for Derby midfielder Max Bird, who was given his Championship debut by Frank Lampard in December 2018.

The report claims Chelsea will pay £4.7million for the talented 19-year-old after manager Lampard ‘requested’ his services at Stamford Bridge.
