Chelsea player suffers injury ahead of Pre-Season clash
Armando Broja, a forward with the Blues, may be seen leaving in safety boots in a picture posted on Twitter. This is bad news for Chelsea, who have failed to replace Romelu Lukaku with a real striker in their starting lineup.
Broja, a product of Chelsea’s development program, spent the previous campaign on loan at Southampton, where he significantly contributed to the team’s Premier League triumphs. In 32 league games, he played, and he scored eight goals.
Regarding the English player for the Albanian national team, Chelsea has not yet made a decision. If Chelsea does not bring in a striker during this transfer window, Broja might choose to stay at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming football season.
