Chelsea preparing to make €130m offer to sign Serie A star

However, according to reports in Italy, Chelsea are preparing to make an offer to sign Juventus’ Matthijs De Ligt this summer.
The 22-year-old has a contract with the Italian giants which runs until 2024 and has a release clause of €130million after his 2019 arrival from Ajax.
Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness, claim Chelsea are keen on signing the former Ajax captain this summer.
Chelsea could lose three defenders – Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen – with the trio running out of contract this summer.
Despite interest from Chelsea, De Ligt has reportedly not made any decision yet on his future and will wait until the end of the current season to make any decisions over his future in Turin.
