Chelsea ready to sanction deal and get shock German transfer all wrapped up

REPORTS have suggested that Chelsea are ready to let Antonio Rudiger join Tottenham, but he must sign a new contract first.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho knows that he needs to improve this Tottenham back-line as it is costing the club too many points, and he has been eyeing up a number of defenders that could help improve the back-line.

Rudiger has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe, including PSG and Barcelona, having not featured in any of Frank Lampard’s matchday squads so far this season, and And now he looks set to depart the club, if you believe all the reports in the media.

According to the Evening Standard, the Germany international has been told he is surplus to requirements by Lampard, paving his way out out of the club.

And a switch to Tottenham for Rudiger could on the cards, but only if we manage to get him to extend his deal for another year to ensure he can’t go on the cheap at the end of the loan deal.

Rudiger is a decent defender that has done a decent job at the club, but there is a reason why we are willing to let him go and that is because he is too unreliable at the back.

If he leaves though, we are hoping that an adequate replacement is signed up and Lampard does not want to bring Declan rice to the club to fill the void as the Hammers star wants to play in midfield.

But if it is true and Rudiger is leaving the club, then we will wish him all the best.
