Chelsea star pays trainer £1,500-a-month for extra training as he vows to pick back form

As we all know Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi hasn’t been at his best since recovering from an Achille injury that kept him out of action for almost six months.

When Hudson-Odoi burst to the scene, he seemed to be like an electrifying 18-year-old who caught the eyes and even earned an England call-up, and impressed with the Three Lions.

However, the young teenager seems to have lost that spark that made Bayern Munich offer up to £35m for an unproven teenager.

The Chelsea academy product who turned the game around in the 3-3 draw against West Brom, is now working hard to rediscover his best form.

According to a report on The Sun, Hudson-Odoi has hired a £1,500-a-month personal trainer to help him undertake extra training sessions to help earn his place in the team after the club had gone on to splash the cash on new signings.

The 19-year-old has also rented an entire pitch at a non-league club near his home where he does all his training. He is also lifting weights and working himself to the limit with sprint shuttle runs and working on endurance training to help him last 90 minutes with ease.

Despite Chelsea’s training sessions, Hudson-Odoi had separate sessions that took place four times weekly initially but are now taking place twice a week to fit in around the heavy fixture schedule.
