Chelsea started negotiations with €50m-rated La Liga attacker

The Blues are reportedly considering the possibility of bringing back their former titan, Eden Hazard from Real Madrid in the summer. Belgium international has been going through a rugged patch since joining them from the Blues in the summer of 2019.

Eden has found it hard to settle down in Real Madrid, and his struggles could end up having a pivotal impact on his future with the Merengues. With his reputation as one of those fundamental linchpins of the modern era, Hazard’s unanticipated downfall has been a concerning sight.

The 30-year-old forward has just managed to feature in only 35 matches under the French boss, with a paltry return of only 4 goals and 7 assists to show for.

The Belgian attacker was hit with another muscle injury in a recent training session and is unlikely to be available in the upcoming crucial few weeks for the Los Blancos. Due to such recurring problems, he has failed to become a reliable figure for the club, which has put Real Madrid’s opportunities of retaining the La Liga title in jeopardy.

Eden, however, could have a chance to turn his fortunes around, with his former club Chelsea looking to offer him a chance at redemption. The aforementioned report now claims that Eden is seen as another vital addition who could help propel the London giants back to elite status.

Chelsea, under new coach Thomas Tuchel, have certainly started the proceedings promisingly, and the London club are quite hopeful about ushering in a bright period under the German. In spite of the positive start, Tuchel needs to vindicate his principles in a way that would offer his squad enough strength and balance to hunt for silverware.
