Chelsea target Jadon Sancho breaks silence on Dortmund’s Champions League exit ahead of summer move

Jadon Sancho is greatly admired as a future solution to Chelsea’s right wing position under Frank Lampard with fans hopeful of a major transfer development in the summer

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has taken to social media to vent his frustrations over losing in the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Manchester City attacker was central to much of his team’s play as the visitors were unable to break down the French champions. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United have both been heavily linked with the 19-year-old who is rated as one of the brightest talents in world football.

In his youth, Sancho is understood to have admired Chelsea and the current Chelsea manager Frank Lampard as a player. Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke called the youngster the best footballer he has ever seen under the age of 21 and revealed that there could be discussions over his future.

“If one day he comes to us and says that he wants to leave the club, then we’ll discuss it,” he told RMC Sport . “Jadon is a great, great talent, maybe the greatest talent in Europe currently of players under the age of 21. “In my opinion, he has the potential to become one of the two or three best players in the world in the years to come.”

On his official Instragram account Sancho posted a reaction to losing out to PSG.

In a caption to a picture form the game he wrote: “Just not good enough.”

Sancho has 14 goals and 15 assists in 23 Bundesliga appearances this season. He has scored 27 goals and 34 assists in the league since he moved to Dortmund from Manchester City in January 2018. However, Chelsea fans think that the Jadon Sancho is the natural answer to their needs to reinforce their right wing position.
