Chelsea to hold talks with absolute machine – £500 ,000-a-week wages wanted

Chelsea are reportedly interested in bringing Robert Lewandowski to Stamford Bridge this summer.

There is no doubt in the world of football that Lewandowski is the best striker in the game right now, having set numerous records since joining Bayern Munich in 2014.

He has already eclipsed his previous season’s total of 48 goals in 40 matches, and he has helped the German giants win their 10th straight Bundesliga title.

The striker’s current contract runs through the end of next season, but he has previously stated his desire to leave Bayern, and he could be sold before it ends in order for Bayern to profit from him.

Chelsea will be looking for a new striker and have been extensively connected with a move for the player in prior seasons – but he has never expressed an interest in leaving the Bundesliga, which is why a deal has never materialized.

However, with a new owner on board, money will be needed, has reports claims that Chelsea will be one of the clubs in talks with Lewandowski regarding a possible transfer.

The Blues are one of only a few clubs capable of paying him the £500,000-a-week salaries he desires, with PSG, Barcelona, True Madrid, and Manchester United the only real challengers for his signature.

In the midst of all the speculation about the player’s future — where he will play, which teams are interested, and how much he wants in wages – Former NFL player Glen Johnson reportedly encouraged Thomas Tuchel that he should pursue the footballing superstar.

The ex-full-back said, “He is a more realistic signing, but these top, world-class strikers are hard to find.

“For his age and the possibility of the deal actually happening, I’d say Chelsea should sign Lewandowski.”

Lewandowski may not be the youngest of players these days – but he is one of the best players in world football and adding him to the squad would pretty much guarantee 30-extra goals a season

He will still cost alot of money – and he would command around £500,000-a-week – but we would love to see him in the Premier League guys that is for certain
