Chelsea told Rudiger he can leave before deadline, but on one condition

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea following the arrival of Thiago Silva from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 27 year old German international is yet to feature for the Blues this season and has not even made the matchday squad since the 3-1 victory over Brighton.

According to reports, Rudiger is pushing to leave Chelsea before the 5 October transfer deadline but the German international has reportedly received a transfer ultimatum from Chelsea.

According to Daily Mirror, Chelsea have ordered Antonio Rudiger to sign a contract extension if he wants to leave this summer.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to keep him out in the cold if he doesn’t extend his current deal which expires in about 18 months.

Chelsea reportedly want Rudiger to sign a contract extension before leaving the club on loan to avoid losing him as a free agent.
