Chelsea told to pay €30million for €100million Midfielder in January

Chelsea have reportedly been told how much it will cost the club to sign Corinthians midfield prodigy Gabriel Moscardo, with other clubs also keen on the youngster.

According to Calcio Mercato via The Hard Tackle, Chelsea must pay at least €30million to sign the 18 year old midfielder from Corinthians.

Corinthians were unwilling to sell the midfielder to Chelsea in the summer but are open to selling the 18 year old during the January transfer window.

Moscardo has a €100million release clause in his Corinthians contract but the Brazilian side will reportedly listen to offers of around €30million for the 18 year old midfielder. Corinthians would also want a sizeable chunk of any resale fee for the midfielder in the future.

Chelsea face plenty of competition in the hunt for Moscardo, with Liverpool and AC Milan also in the hunt. Barcelona and Arsenal are also interested in signing the teenage midfielder.
