Club opens door for Chelsea to seal £50m deal, Blues given chance to sign 215-goal player after latest updates, as Italian opens door to Chelsea transfer deal in summer

Chelsea to make a move to try and secure a transfer deal for Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer window.

Coutinho was one of the most gifted players in the Premier League with Liverpool and the Reds helped mould the Brazilian into one of the very best players in world football.

That ultimately led to him making that big money move to sign with Barcelona, a move that was supposed to make him an absolute superstar in the game. But for many reasons, he has failed to make the impact that many people had expected.

And that has led to alot of speculation that the Brazilian would be open to the idea of making a move back to the Premier League, where a number of clubs are reportedly eyeing up a possible bargain £35 million deal when the transfer window opens up.

According to El Confidencial, the club’s short-term debt stands at €730m and they need to lighten their salary burden before entering the market.

Four names have been identified for potential sales in the upcoming window, with Griezmann, Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti and Francisco Trincao believed to be on the chopping block.

Coutinho is a man that wants to play on a regular basis and joining a club like ours, it would mean that he would get the game time that he wants.

We will have to fork out alot of money to try and get a deal done, but damn would he be the ideal signing for Tuchel.

If they can, they should make a move, he would be a brilliant signing for the club.

It seems that Chelsea could actually sign Harry Kane in the summer, as the striker has come out and opened the door about a possible move away from Tottenham.

Regarded as one of the very best strikers on the planet right now, Kane is a player that is being chased by all the biggest clubs, with Chelsea once of those outfits that may be interested in a deal at the end of the season.

To date he has scored 215 goals in 327 appearances in all competitions, making him Spurs’ second highest scorer of all time behind Jimmy Greaves, but with Spurs not able to win the trophies that he would like, there has been constant speculation in the media.

WHAT KANE SAID?

“I think that’s a hard question to answer right now,” Kane told reporters when asked if he had to leave Tottenham in order to win trophies.

“It’s important that all my focus is on the two England games coming up now and the rest of the season with Spurs and then the Euros.

“To be thinking about speculation or rumours would be damaging in terms of my own performance.

“I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on and have a great Euros.

“Look, I try to stay out of that speculation as much as possible. I’m fully focused on doing the job on the pitch from now until the end of the summer and then we’ll see where we go from there.”

Jorginho has once again dropped the biggest hint that he is ready to leave Chelsea and head back to Italian football.

Having arrived at the club over three seasons ago, Jorginho has become a firm fixture under Thomas Tuchel this season and the German boss has been hoping that he could get the Brazilian-born-Italian to sign a new contract at the club.

However, He has seen a retracing of steps to Serie A mooted at regular intervals and has admitted that he is still struggling to get to grips with the inclement conditions in Britain.

WHAT HAS HE ACTUALLY SAID?

Jorginho has been speaking to Canale21 and was asked what Napoli mean to him.

He said: “There are no words to describe how much I miss Naples.

“Who wouldn’t miss Naples? It’s so cold in London, they don’t even know what the sun is!”

Jorginho’s agent, Jorge Santos, has admitted that a second stint at Napoli could happen.

He is waiting to see what upcoming transfer windows bring, with any approaches set to be mulled over.

Santos has told Radio Marte: “If Napoli will make an offer, we’ll evaluate it

“He had a great time in Naples and he has many friends over there.”
