Confirmed: Blues to sign Monaco midfielder ‘with or without’ Lampard
Despite the ongoing uncertainty over the manager’s position at Stamford Bridge, ESPN has claimed the Blues are keen on making an addition to the squad.
The report claims Chelsea have been been monitoring the progress of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and are keen on signing the 20 year old midfielder.
The France under-20 international has started every game bar one in Ligue 1 this campaign, producing some top performances.
Tchouameni joined Monaco from Bordeaux last summer for €18million and has taken his game to the next level under Niko Kovac at Monaco.
Monaco will reportedly reject any bid from Chelsea for the 20 year old this January but will be willing to let him leave in the summer.
