Chelsea star Christian Pulisic went off injured in the FA Cup final clash against Arsenal last weekend, as the 21-year-old pulled his hamstring while about to score against the Gunners.
The American won’t be available for this weekend’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich, as he has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The new season starts in September, with September 12 earmarked as the new resumption date for the 2020-21 campaign, and the Blues star is in a race to be fit ahead of the new season.
Pulisic is expected to be out for five weeks, and the American international has been one of Chelsea’s best players since the resumption of the season.
The Chelsea team suffered loss to three players against Arsenal, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro also having to be subbed off due to injury. Meanwhile, Pulisic has revealed on social media that he’d be back soon.
“Gave it everything we had,” wrote Pulisic. “Wasn’t our day.. thank you guys for your support I’ll be back in no time 🙏🏽’”
