Deal CLOSE: Chelsea forward wants Chelsea exit before October 5 deadline

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing for a loan transfer away from Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old highly-rated England international has fallen down the pecking order for the 2020/21 term with the summer signings of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech.

He struggled last campaign, scoring only three goals in 33 games, and has played just ten minutes of Chelsea’s first two PL matches this term.

But being afforded Carabao Cup chances is not enough for him, who wants to be playing regular football as Callum nears his 20th birthday.

And talkSPORT’s transfer insider Alex Crook revealed that Callum wants to leave Chelsea on loan before the transfer market closes next month – and long-term suitors Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich are once again keen.

Said Crook: “Chelsea have been the big spenders this transfer window, but the emphasis is now on trimming their wage bill.

“talkSPORT understands Callum Hudson-Odoi is pushing for a loan move with Bayern Munich reviving their interest.

“Meanwhile, Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge with Aston Villa keen on signing the England international.”
