Deal close: Manchester United set to benefit from Lukaku’s move to Chelsea following latest development
Chelsea are keen on signing Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku this summer with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel keen on building a team capable of challenging for the Premier League.
Chelsea have already had two bids rejected by Inter Milan for Lukaku but the Blues remain confident of signing the Belgian striker.
However, reports claims Chelsea have reach an agreement with Inter Milan for the transfer of Lukaku, Premier League rivals Manchester United are set to benefit from the transfer.
According to Daily Mail, Manchester United will be in line for a windfall of around £4m should Chelsea strike a £100m deal for Romelu Lukaku.
United had a sell on clause inserted in Lukaku’s contract when he left for Inter Milan that entitles them to around 4 per cent of any future sale fee.
