Deal CLOSE: Marina Granovskaia confident of signing this world-class player this week

According to reports, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is confident of signing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz this week, according to Daily Express.

However, This is because the Bundesliga giants are now willing to take a reduced fee for the playmaker, having been holding out for £80million in one go.

Chelsea will pay Bayer Leverkusen’s asking price for the midfielder but via instalments and add-ons, meaning the Blues are able to sign him for less up front.

The 21 year old midfielder has already agreed a five year contract with the Blues and has been keen for both sides to reach an agreement on the transfer.

The Bayer Leverkusen star scored 12 goals and registered six assists in the Bundesliga last term and is regarded as one of the most-promising playmakers on the planet.
