Deal On: Chelsea handed chance to sign 27-year-old Brazilian playmaker

Barcelona have reportedly informed Premier League giants Chelsea that they would be prepared to accept a Blues player as a makeweight in a potential swap deal for Coutinho.

The Spanish giants are believed to have placed Brazilian playmaker on the transfer list ahead of this upcoming summer transfer window, which has led to a host of rumours surrounding the players future.

The Blues are one of a number of teams to be credited with an interest in the ex-Liverpool midfielder, and according to Sport, the Catalan giants are prepared to part with the 27-year-old playmaker for just £44.5m in the summer.

The report, though, suggests that the Spanish heavyweights would want a Blues player, either a central defender or a left-back included in the deal.

However, Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso are both believed to be available for the transfer market this summer, while Kurt Zouma is currently being linked with a switch away from Stamford Bridge.
