Deal on: Chelsea ready fresh move for €60m target after signing Koulibaly

According to ABC Sevilla, Chelsea is ready to make another attempt to sign Jules Kounde this summer.

However, The Frenchman has long been admired by the Blues, who tried to sign him last year but were unsuccessful.

Sevilla received a bid of €55 million, but the La Liga team demanded that his €80 million buy-out clause be activated.

According to recent reports, Chelsea is preparing a new effort and will enlist the aid of top agency Jorge Mendes.

They can negotiate a lower price for the central defender by using Mendes as a middleman.

Presnel Kimpembe is on the verge of joining Chelsea, who have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly as a center defender.

Still, Kounde is expected to be moved for. The West London behemoths are interested in three top center backs.

Chelsea continues to have the most interest in Kounde, but Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping an eye on him.

This summer, they’ll be trying to sign him for a lower price.
