Defender ‘has landed’ Italian tells Chelsea fans deals is just hours away from being announced and completed
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Fikayo Tomori has just landed in Italy to complete his loan move to AC Milan from Chelsea.
Tomori is a talent that was expected to be a massive part of the Chelsea pans this season, but the fact he has fallen down the pecking order at the club and not really been given a chance, he sought a move away from the club
And that alerted Italian giants AC Milan, who have been massive fans of the young man for a while now and have decided to make a loan move till the end of the season, with an option to make the transfer permanent for £27million.
Chelsea and Milan have been in deep talks over the past few days about a possible transfer deal foe the young man, but it seems that an announcement is very close as Tomori has landed in Italy to seal his loan move to the Italian giants.
He Tweeted: “Fikayo Tomori is landing in Milano in these minutes, confirmed. Loan until the end of the season with buy option [and no obligation] around £25m. Never been in doubt – negotiations started two weeks ago and deal 100% done. Red circle #CFC #ACMilan”
We have said it before and we will say it again, it is a massive shame that Tomori is not able to make an impact on this Chelsea side, but at the end of the day, this is a massive opportunity for the lad to go to Italy and win Seria A, Milan are favourites to end the dominance by Juventus.
And if a move is permanent , it will be a massive loss for Chelsea to lose such a gifted player.
So even though a loan move may give him some game time, the Blues should not let the lad leave on a permanent basis
