Didier Drogba’s replacement sends massive message to Blues fans after signing with Chelsea
Chelsea youngster Armando Broja is well rated in the Chelsea camp and smashed the goals for fun while playing for the youth team.
The 19-year-old has signed a new five year deal with the club, and he seems to have a huge future ahead of him.
Broja netted 11 times in the Eredivisie on loan with Vitesse and was one of the top scoring teenagers in Europe’s top leagues.
The young striker had revealed back in April that his target was to surpass his hero, the legendary Didier Drogba.
Having now signed a new deal, Broja’s next target is to progress. The Albanian has said that he wants to make an impact at Chelsea for many years.
On signing his new contract, Broja said: “I am really excited to be signing a new contract with Chelsea.
“Having come through the Academy here it was a special moment for me to make my first-team debut last year, before gaining further experience on loan at Vitesse last season. I want to build on these foundations and I am really looking forward to progressing and making an impact at Chelsea in the years to come.”
Indeed, Broja is an exciting prospect and has many Didier Drogba-like characteristics. If he can reach those heights then he’d be a huge hit at the club.
