Done deal: Impressive Dutch man complete Chelsea signing
The official website of Chelsea has confirmed that left-back Ian Maatsen’s loan transfer to Burnley has been finalized.
After a successful stint with Coventry City last season, where he played 42 games and was voted the club’s Young Player of the Year, the 20-year-old is still playing in the Championship.
However, the Dutch-man was interested in making a long-term move to Feyenoord. But according to reporter Nathan Gissing, there was no tight competition between the clubs.
In their first season back in the Championship, Burnley, managed by Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany, will try to make the Premier League.
