Dressing room BUST UP! as reporter reveals Tuchel & Chelsea player clash at half-time during Wolves game

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel decided to take off Marcos Alonso, with Saul Niguez brought on as his replacement, At half-time against Wolves.

However, many had thought Alonso was injured, but Tuchel admitted the substitution was a tactical decision.

Tuchel explained after the game: “Marcos was not injured, it was just a decision we made.”

Tuchel’s decision to sub off Alonso didn’t pay off as Wolves second goal came from the left flank to find Conor Coady in the box.

Saul Niguez didn’t have any input in the game, and fans had wondered why he was brought on for Alonso.

However, according to reporter Nathan Gissing, has claimed that Alonso was taken off after having a heated argument with the Chelsea boss.

He claimed his sources described the events in the dressing room as a ‘heated exchange’.

As a result, Saul replaced Alonso as the left wing-back for the second half.

Strong reports claim Alonso would want to leave Chelsea in the summer, with Barcelona interested in his services.
