‘Drop me against Everton am not playing’ – Chelsea star reveals as he set to leave club

According to reports, Marcos Alonso, a left back for Chelsea, has been linked with a transfer to Barcelona over the summer, and the 31-year-old international from Spain is getting closer to a move to the Camp Nou.

However, SPORT reports that Marcos Alonso has begged Tuchel not to start him against Everton today because he wants to concentrate on deciding his future and avoid getting hurt, which could hurt his move.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the transfer is already at its final stages.

Romano claims: “Barcelona are closing on Marcos Alonso deal! Barça and Chelsea are finalising the agreement, working on the last details in order to get deal completed very soon.

“Been told final fee will be less than €10m. Personal terms already agreed three months ago.”

Marcos Alonso may have played his last game for Chelsea, and leaves the club having won five major trophies in six years at Stanford Bridge.

Both clubs are believed to have agreed a fee of €10m for Alonso, and the Spaniard will sign a contract with Barca until 2024 with an option for an additional year.
