€80M star ‘has agreed to leave’ Club – wants to join Tuchel at Chelsea

£60m star ‘has agreed to leave’ Club – wants to join Tuchel at Chelsea

According to reports, Frenkie de Jong has reportedly finally decided to leave Barcelona for the Premier League, but only if it means joining Chelsea.

However, Since Erik ten Hag was hired, the Netherlands international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford. Ten Hag apparently wants to reconnect with his former Ajax midfielder.

De Jong has reportedly even reversed course and is now open to joining the Red Devils after earlier insisting he had no reason to leave the Nou Camp, according to recent sources.

Additionally, His transfer value is €80M, but it has been stated that Barcelona would accept a transfer fee of £60M for the midfielder and are quite open to the notion of letting him go because they need money owing to their ongoing financial problems.

Man United want to sign the midfielder and wants to complete the transaction this month, but The Guardian reports that Chelsea has now made their moves.

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel believes his team needs a few world-class players to spice things up. Given that the Blues are missing a player like De Jong in the middle of the field, he is a player they look up to.

The playmaker may play in the Champions League for the Blues, who have been more consistent in recent years than United, and it now appears that he has decided to leave Barcelona this summer.

The Dutchman is eager to leave the Nou Camp, but not to the club that wants him; instead, he would prefer a transfer to Chelsea, according to the Spanish publication Sport.

After weeks of bluff and bluster, both Barcelona and Manchester United may lose out on the deal since Chelsea’s speculative offer is said to be far lower than the €80 million the Red Devils were willing to pay.

Chelsea only needs to play it smart to have the opportunity to acquire De Jong on the cheap, and he can play center-half.
