Chelsea have been linked with several players around the globe and Erling Haaland is one of them.

However, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has named Chelsea manager Frank Lampard as the former player that he would have liked to have played with.

The 19-year-old forward caught the eye in the Champions League this season with Red Bull Salzburg and joined Borussia Dortmund.

Widely regarded as one of the best young players in world football, Haaland is expected to earn another lucrative transfer in the future.

In quick-fire Q&A with ESPN, Haaland was asked who the one player he’d want to have played with that’s retired and replied: “Frank Lampard.”
