‘For me, he’s currently one of the best player in Europe’ – Jerome Boateng hails Chelsea player
The important role Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is playing at Chelsea presently has been hailed and lots of players around the world is giving him the credit he deserves.
However, former Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, currently playing at Lyon, has hailed Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger as among the best five defenders in Europe.
Speaking to Kerry Hau, Boateng heaped praise on Rudiger, who is heavily linked with a move away to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
When asked about Rudiger, Boateng said: “For me, he is currently the best German defender – and definitely among the top five in his position in Europe.”
However, Rudiger looks likely to leave Chelsea at the end of the season as he has stalled on extending his contract which expires at the end of the season.
