‘For now, he could leave Chelsea in January’ — Matt Law confirms Chelsea player set to leave Stamford bridge

As we all know Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is in the final months of his contract with Chelsea, and the German international seems to be set for an exit.

Reports already claim that the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG are keen on the 28-year-old and are waiting for his time to wind up at Chelsea.

Rudiger and Chelsea seem to be far apart in terms of wages, and it has made talks to have broken down.

According to Matt Law, on current development, Rudiger will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

Speaking on the London is Blue podcast, Matt Law said of Rudiger’s contract situation: “Chelsea are only prepared to go so high for Antonio Rudiger’s contract.

“As it stands, Rudiger is leaving Chelsea. His camp are waiting for offers in January to see what they receive. There’s no progress. It feels like they [the club and player’s camp] are too far apart [in their valuation in terms of new wages].”

Rudiger has been a key player for Chelsea since last season, and it would be a big miss if he leaves the club.
