‘Forget Kante’ as another Chelsea player could be shortlisted for Ballon d’Or race
As we all Know Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante could have the chance to win the Ballon d’Or after his stunning performances so far.
The France International has the chance to win it if his country side win the ongoing EURO tournament.
However, another Chelsea player has been tipped to also win the Ballon d’Or as well.
According to Napoli star and Italy international Lorenzo Insigne insists Chelsea midfielder Jorginho deserves to be shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or.
“He had spent some fantastic years at Chelsea and I am proud to have him in our team,” Insigne said.
“I’m not the one deciding if he deserves the Ballon d’Or, but I hope he’ll be shortlisted, he deserves so, he is a great player.
“I call him the professor and we are all happy to play with him.”
