After days of waiting, Chelsea football club has finally confirmed that Timo Werner is one of us. As confirmed by the club’s official site, the German ace has agreed to personal terms with the club. He will join his teammates in July, subject to clearing a medical examination.
One of Europe’s hottest talents, the 24-year-old has been scoring for fun this season. He has netted 32 goals and 13 assists in 43 appearances for RB Leipzig so far. The striker also sent a message to Chelsea fans. He revealed that he is happy to join such a successful club and has vowed to give his best on the pitch.
It has been some time since a transfer window has got us this excited. With Hakim Ziyech also in the bag, we are looking like an exciting new attacking setup next season.
