Project restart is in full swing now as the Premier League and the 20 clubs in it prepare to return to group training this week.

As per The Daily Mail, this could be as early as this coming Tuesday the 19th of May.

Chelsea players have already been back training individually at Stamford Bridge, at least the players who live close to it have, as per The Daily Mirror back in April.

But players are expected to return to their Cobham training centre this week and begin partaking in group training sessions again ahead of the league’s proposed return of football next month.

However, the report from the Mail suggests that the start date could be pushed back yet again, to June the 26th.

This is due to club medics and coaches debating that players need longer to get fit once again after having the last two months off.

There will be another decisive meeting on Monday to confirm details and protocols for training.
