Guardiola brags on how to beat Chelsea in UCL final, as Fans told £250,000-week Brazilian star wants Chelsea move

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has claimed he knows what he has to do to beat Chelsea in the Champions League final.

Speaking ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday, Guardiola told the media (via MEN): “When they have the ball it’s difficult to control them because of their players so close, like their holding midfielders move perfectly.

“They make the pitch so wide with wing-backs and so deep with Werner. They move perfectly with Pulisic and Mount with pockets, they are so direct with the ball.

“I saw this morning their game against Villa, they played good, controlled the game, the process they do, they do so well.

“It’s a final of the CL, I couldn’t expect a less tough opponent. We know it, okay, we’re going to face them, knowing what we have to do to beat them.

“I’m more concerned what we have to do with the ball. If our strategy without the ball, and the strategy from day one with the ball, that is what we will do.”

Alex Crook has told TalkSport that Arsenal star Willian ‘would love’ a move to Chelsea in the summer

WIllian left the club at the end of last season after months of debate about where he would be going over the summer transfer window, and in the end., he opted to make the move across London to sign with the Arsenal.

The deal was hailed by many in the opening weeks of the new season, as the Brazilian put in some ok performances, towards the end of the season, he has looked nothing like the world class player that he was over at the Bridge

However, after less than a year at the Emirates and with just one goal in 37 appearances, Willian is understood to be keen to consider a new challenge, And talkSPORT’s Alex Crook reports the Brazilian is eyeing a comeback, though isn’t sure if he will be welcomed back: “If Willian is close to the exit door at Arsenal, I’m sure there are a lot of supporters who would be willing to open it with open arms,” he said.

“It’s been a really poor signing in terms of goals and assists. He just never settled.

“I am told that on a personal level he would love to go back to Chelsea. I’m not sure that would be reciprocated from Chelsea.”

Roundup…

Look, the club let the player leave simply because he was coming towards the back end of his playing days and he has proven at Arsenal that he is not good enough to play at the very highest level anymore.

He may reportedly want a move back to the Bridge in the summer, but we will not be making a move as they have moved on from the Brazilian.
