“Here we go! – Fabrizio Romano finally confirms third Chelsea signing
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will shortly reveal their third official signing of the summer for the Men’s squad.
However, Romano’s “here we go” signal on a transaction is essentially equivalent to the club formally announcing it, which is what is anticipated to happen next for either Chelsea or the Chicago Fire of the Major League Soccer.
This is because Gabriel Slonina, the goalie for the Chicago Fire, is set to be officially signed by The Blues.
Romano claims that he finished his medicals in London yesterday after signing a 6-year contract with Chelsea. The 18-year-old will join Chelsea for 15 million euros, or about £12.6 million. And Slonina will remain at his team on loan until the conclusion of the MLS season in January, as Romano has confirmed below in a Tweet from last night.
Once officially confirmed, Slonina will join Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling as Chelsea’s three summer additions.
