According to latest reports, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has been hailed as the signing of the season by Jonathan Woodgate.
The 21-year-old Chelsea midfielder moved to Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season, and he has been in massive form for the Eagles.
Gallagher plays with so much energy and is already a key player for Palace. He has scored four goals and two assists this season, which has earned him a call up to the England national team.
For former Spurs man, Woodgate, the Chelsea loanee has so far proven to be the signing of the season.
“The signing of the season so far, for me, has been Conor Gallagher to Crystal Palace from Chelsea,” Woodgate exclusively told Ladbrokes at its launch of the 5-A-Side Bet on Tottenham v Leeds.
“He’s in my dream team as well, actually. I love the way he plays. I watched a lot of him at Charlton under Lee Bowyer, he’s got so much energy, he scores and creates goals. He’s a top player.
“Patrick Vieira’s style of play really suits Gallagher; he’s come in and changed everything tactically, and it’s paid off for him – not least because of the impact Gallagher has had in that team since coming in.”
