“He’s out, has a hamstring injury” – Lampard confirms key Chelsea player is out of Leicester clash

Ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League game against Leicester City at the King Power stadium, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has confirmed a key Chelsea player will miss the trip due to injury.

According to Lampard, Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is unavailable to take on his former side Leicester City as he is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Kante missed Chelsea’s victory over Fulham on Saturday due to suspension but has also been nursing a hamstring problem, which is why he missed the FA Cup victory over Morecambe.

Lampard said: “(Andreas) Christensen is available [after his knee injury] but N’Golo isn’t. It’s a bit too soon for his hamstring.”
