According to reports in the English press, Chelsea are the frontrunners to capture Everton striker Richarlison.
Tottenham and Arsenal have both been connected with the Brazilian international, but the Blues appear to be still in the running to sign him.
Although there have been conflicting reports about the seriousness of Chelsea’s interest in Richarlison, most Twitter users believe he would be a better option than some of the other forwards who have lately been mentioned as targets:
Everton’s asking price will determine a lot. The figure fluctuates depending on whatever publication you read, ranging from £50 million to €80 million (£69 million).
With Raheem Sterling projected to cost £45 million and Gabriel Jesus expected to cost around the same, Richarlison appears to be the most expensive player to sign. With that in mind, Chelsea may opt not to pursue the Everton striker further.
