A we all know Marcos Alonso didn’t have the best of game against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The Spaniard had a poor game all through the match, and it even got worse when he needlessly bundled Daniel James to the ground just before the half hour mark.
The Spain international was starting his fourth successive Premier League game following the injury to Ben Chilwell.
Alonso had previously not played a single minute between October and the end of November, and he’s yet to impress since his return to the team, after having impressed in the first few games of the season.
Chelsea fans were irritated with Alonso’s performance and have asked the board to sign a cover for Ben Chilwell rather than having Alonso.
