Huge news from Germany as World-class defender demands £230,000 per week to join Chelsea

According to latest reports, Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is demanding a £12million salary after tax to join Chelsea or any interested club.

The Austrian International is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season after failing to agree a contract extension with the Champions League winners.

The Austrian’s representatives – headed up by agent Pini Zahav, have been speaking to interested clubs this month about the player’s demands.

Barcelona have dropped out of the race for the defender as they are unable to meet his £230,000 per week salary demands.

Real Madrid are only willing to offer Alaba a salary of £9million per season. Real Madrid stalwart Sergio Ramos earns £11million per season and the Spanish club is reportedly unwilling to pay Alaba more than Ramos.

Alaba, 28, is a proven winner with two Champions League titles and nine Bundesliga crowns on his CV.
