“I can’t do this again..” –  Cole Palmer sends clear penalty message to Chelsea teammates after penalty clash

In the first sixteen minutes of play, Cole Palmer scored a hat-trick to put Chelsea ahead. Nicolas Jackson added a fourth goal, Palmer’s penalty midway through the second half made it five, and Alfie Gilchrist’s goal in stoppage time completed the rout.

Palmer’s goals gave him back-to-back hat-tricks at Stamford Bridge. This season, he has scored 23 goals overall, including 11 in his last six games.

Palmer was fouled by Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré, and the ref called a penalty. Palmer was supposed to take it, having scored eight goals in eight games for Chelsea already, but Jackson and Madueke both pushed hard for it, and they got upset when captain Conor Gallagher stepped in and made sure Palmer got the assignment.

Even after Palmer quietly converted, they persisted in their protests. The young man with a calm head wasn’t even phased by the fight between his teammates.

Following the event, Palmer was viewed as being quite updated and expressed hope that Mauricio Pochettino will resolve the penalty concerns.

Cole Palmer tells Chelsea’s stars, “I can’t take it anymore, that’s really embarrassing,” as he gives them explicit penalty instructions.

On Saturday, Cole Palmer will play in the FA Cup Semifinals against his old team, Manchester City.

As Pochettino looks toward a European football season next year, the Blues are hoping to make it to the championships.
