Following their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, Dele Alli has admitted he’s responsible for the loss.
However, Alli claims he was at fault for Thiago Silva’s goal after losing the Chelsea defender in the build-up to the goal.
“Once we went 1-0 down to a sloppy goal — it was my man so I need to take responsibility — it’s a bit of a mountain against a team like this,” said Alli.
“It could have gone either way in the first half but if you don’t punish them you can be punished and that is what happened today.
