‘I enjoy playing this new role’ – Raheem Sterling reveals why Potter is better than Tuchel tactically after Salzburg draw

Since Raheem Sterling had played for both managers, he was happy to be able to distinguish between them and determine which was superior.

His opinion is that Chelsea supporters should ignore Tuchel’s ouster and concentrate on the advantages of Graham Potter being the club’s manager since Sterling supports the Manager’s tactical prudence.

When given the choice, Sterling would rather play as a defense than a striker. Against Salzburg, Sterling was thrilled to be playing in his natural position, something that does not seem to occur under Tuchel.

The majority of players were permitted to retake their original positions. Mount played right wing and occasionally dribbled into the middle, and Kai Havertz positioned himself as a 10 behind Aubameyang (his natural position).

These were what Sterling Said in regards to the comparison.

“[I was} playing in a slightly different role, and I enjoy playing out wide.”
