“I said it earlier his service has been great” – Paul Merson praise Chelsea player recent performance
According to latest reports, Pundit Paul Merson has been impressed with the performance of Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech recently and hailed Ziyech for his phenomenal deliveries.
While our attackers failed to capitalise from several deliveries into the box from Ziyech, the Morocco international capitalised on a good delivery from Marcos Alonso to score the only goal of the game in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Ziyech’s goal against Crystal Palace means the Morocco international has now scored in three consecutive Premier League games for Chelsea.
Merson, who was appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports, hailed the Moroccan during live coverage of his latest goal. Also, he highlighted his crossing throughout the contest.
Merson said on Sky Sports: “It’s a great ball by [Marcos] Alonso on the left-hand side, a long looping cross to the far post. Ziyech, who’s got a great left foot, I said earlier his service has been phenomenal, he sidefoot volleys in-between the keepers legs and gives him no chance.”
