“I see them on the street” “See how they treat me” – Pochettino reveals how Chelsea fans treated him for the past 7months at Stamford Bridge

Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that he doesn’t yet feel loved by Chelsea fans, seven months into his career at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine has come under increased pressure in recent weeks after seeing his side suffer heavy defeats to Liverpool and Wolves, which saw them ship in eight goals in both games.

Some fans had called for Pochettino to be sacked as a result, and the 51-year-old says he can understand why.

“No, no, I need to be honest with you, no because I understand they were winning the Champions League, they won cups, the Premier League,” Poch told Sky Sports, as quoted by Goal.

“Why are the fans going to love me after six, or seven months?

“We are in a [League Cup] final but we are not in a good position in the table in the Premier League. I think at the moment I feel the respect from the fans, I see them on the street and they are all nice to me, but I cannot lie.”
