‘I think Chelsea should go all out and sign them’ – Former Chelsea star urges Club to sign £150m duo world-class players

According to reports, Glen Johnson, a former Chelsea defender, has pushed the club to sign Declan Rice, a midfielder for West Ham.

However, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United are all interested in Rice, who is hot property in the transfer market.

Rice is valued at over £100 million by West Ham, therefore signing the England international will require an extremely high transfer fee.

Johnson is astonished that Chelsea hasn’t pursued Rice.

Johnson told Genting Casino: “I think Chelsea should go all out for Rice before the deadline.”

“They’re quite active this window and everyone knows they are interested in Rice.

“If they really wanted to do it they would have done it already, and I find it strange that it is taking so long.

“Rice’s impact at West Ham is huge. No team wants to lose their best player. He’s the main man and is the key to everything they do but I think we all know the clock is ticking for his time being at West Ham.”

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also open to selling star player, Neymar.

Further-more, Glen Johnson also believes that a move for Neymar will be a good one for Chelsea.

PSG currently value Neymar at around £50m, but his wages will put off any interested buyer.

“If Chelsea can sign him for a sensible deal then, someone like Neymar would obviously be a good signing,” Johnson added.

“He is a world class player. Whether it is realistic or not, I’m not sure but if they can get it over the line for something sensible then it’s a no brainer.”
