I want to learn from him, I want Chelsea move – £68m man wants Chelsea move after latest Blues signing
Despite bringing in Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, Chelsea isn’t through with the summer transfer window.
Chelsea must find a replacement for Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger now that they have departed the team. Cesar Azpilicueta, the captain of Chelsea, is reportedly considering leaving this summer as well.
However, Jules Kounde, a defender for Sevilla, has been recommended for acquisition by Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea is thought to be in the lead for Kounde, and the 23-year-old has even already agreed to personal terms with the Premier League club. Barcelona, though, is also competing to sign him.
Kounde has a £68 million release clause, and Sevilla is apparently seeking bids exceeding $51 million in the hopes that Chelsea and Barcelona will engage in a bidding battle.
According to a report by CBS Sports, Jules Kounde is excited at the prospect of teaming up with Kalidou Koulibaly at Chelsea. claims he wants to learn more from the defender.
However, Koulibaly has established himself as one of the most best defenders in Italy over the past decade and CBS say Kounde is keen to get the opportunity to learn from him.
Koulibaly is seen as a veteran centre back, and even Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pleased with his signing.
“I’m very happy with him signing and joining our team,” Chelsea manager Tuchel said of Koulibaly after his signing was confirmed.
“He’s now the second signing of the summer and again we have a strong player, a strong personality with big experience. From our point of view, he’s a perfect addition to the group.”
