I’m perfect for the job – Buyer tells Roman Abramovich to sell Chelsea to him
Lots of investors have expressed interest in buying Chelsea since Roman Abramovich listed the Blues for sale.
However, Conor McGregor has confirmed that he’s serious about taking over Chelsea and he believes he’s the ‘perfect’ man to replace Roman Abramovich.
Abramovich has been forced to put the club up for sale due to the fallout from Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
McGregor tweeted on Sunday and hinted that he’s the right man to become Chelsea’s next owner because he’s already achieved so much at the top of an elite level sport.
He tweeted: “Everyday I ball. How wouldn’t I lead a team of young, dedicated athletes to glory. I’m perfect for the job.
“Pray it’s your team.”
The Irishman’s tweet comes after Sky Sports revealed Abramovich isn’t interested in selling Chelsea to him.
