Zouma was one of Frank Lampard’s best players at the club before the appointment of Thomas Tuchel.
However, the Chelsea Centre-back Kurt Zouma has been linked with a move away from the club as he hasn’t played a key role under Thomas Tuchel.
Zouma’s game time drastically reduced under Tuchel, and the Frenchman did not feature in Tuchel’s first five league games as Chelsea manager, and would go on to complete 90 minutes just seven times in the Premier League under the German boss.
Zouma has been linked with an exit this summer, and a move away to Sevilla which would have included Jules Kounde moving in the opposite direction didn’t work out, as Zouma isn’t interested in a move to Spain.
Sky Sports have reported that Tottenham are interested in signing Zouma, and you’d trust club legend John Terry to advise him against such a move.
In response to Sky Sports’ Instagram post which reported Tottenham’s interest in Zouma, Terry replied: ‘Don’t do it @kurtzouma.’
