According to reports, The Borussia Dortmund striker has been linked with a summer transfer to Chelsea, and some fans think they have spotted a clue that a deal could happen before deadline day

Meanwhile, Some Chelsea fans have a brilliant theory involving Erling Haaland.

The Norway international is dominating this summer’s transfer window, with the Blues hoping to win the race to sign arguably the most sought-after player in European football right now.

However, Last season Haaland scored 41 goals in as many appearances for Borussia Dortmund and it’s that sort of return that would propel Chelsea into genuine Premier League title challengers in the 2021/22 campaign.

Although any hopes of the 20-year-old making the switch to Stamford Bridge this summer may have suffered a major blow with Dortmund chief Michael Zorc insisting there are no plans to sell.

This is despite it being financially beneficial for the Bundesliga outfit to do business this summer.

This is because at the end of next season, 20-year-old’s release clause of €75million (£64m) will kick in which means clubs can save millions amid reports that his current price-tag is north of £100m.

“Nothing has changed,” Zorc said when speaking to Bild, via Ronan Murphy on Twitter. “We plan with Erling for the new season.”

With that said, it’s clear that a number of Chelsea fans don’t think those comments mean it’s the end of what is developing into a transfer saga.

In fact, there’s a theory that Haaland has even dropped a ‘hint’ that he’s Chelsea bound.

After posting an image on his Instagram account of him doing some work on a farm, the fact he was wearing Blue sent some Chelsea fans into a transfer frenzy.
