“It is true, I am leaving happily” – Chelsea player reveals after interest from Serie A club
Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, who is now in charge at Lazio, reportedly wants to sign Kepa this January.
However, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has admitted that he would stay at Chelsea as long as he is happy.
Kepa, who joined Chelsea from Spanish side Athletic Bilbao for £72million in 2018 (a world record for a goalkeeper), is now no.2 behind Edouard Mendy at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Kepa has insists he will remain at Stamford Bridge despite being no.2 behind Mendy as long as he is happy.
Talking to DAZN, he said: “It is true that I had not had the opportunity to play several games in a row for a few months,” he told
“I take it as an opportunity in which I think I am prepared when I am playing, I am doing well, I am leaving satisfied with the games, I am leaving happy, and that is what I was looking for.”
