‘It really helped us! Brentford boss reveals how Premier League helped his team ahead of Chelsea clash
Brentford had their games postponed after having seven Covid-19 cases in their squad while the Blues were forced to play against Wolves on Sunday despite having the same number of Covid-19 cases.
However, according to reports, Brentford boss Thomas Frank has revealed he now has no positive Covid cases in his squad after the Premier League postponed their games against Manchester United and Southampton.
“We’ll put 11 players out, that’s for sure. Brentford boss Frank said.
“The (postponements) helped us break the circuit, so from six or seven cases Thursday, to Saturday we only had one, zero Monday and zero today. So we are definitely in a fine place.”
