‘It seems tempting to work with him’ – as defender ‘tempted’ to join Tuchel at Stamford Bridge
According to latest reports, Tuchel is targeting another player from his former club, as reports claim PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe is questioning his future at Paris Saint-Germain and could be ‘tempted’ by a move to Chelsea to reunite with Thomas Tuchel.
More so, The Blues were linked with Sevilla defender Jules Kounde during the summer, but a move didn’t materialise as the Spanish side held on to their star defender.
With four of Chelsea’s defenders in the final year of their contract with the club, Chelsea may yet make another move for a new defender at the end of the season.
According to French publication L’Equipe, Chelsea are targeting Kimpembe who could be available during the summer, as the France international is uncertain about his future at the club.
The report claims Kimpembe sees working with Tuchel again as a ‘tempting’ one, and he’s also said to question the constant changing of direction at PSG and is unsure where he stands under Mauricio Pochettino.
